Last 26th November 2012 representatives from the Spanish INNOVAGE partners JCYL (Social Services Department) and INTRAS held a working meeting in the new-born Inno-Hub sited in Zamora. It was an excellent opportunity to start preparing the promotional event that will be held in Valladolid, Spain, in April next year. During this event the Good Practices Catalogue, one of the main results of the INNOVAGE project, will be presented and promoted delivering paper copies of it but also in a poster session explaining the good practices selected in each of the participant regions.
INNOVAGE project has been included in the Third collection of Interregional Cooperation Projects of INTERREG programme (http://www.interreg4c.eu/publications.html). This document is a collection of 89 approved projects within the 3rd and 4th INTERREG call and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund within the 2007-2013 Structural Funds programming period.
INNOVAGE was presented in the INTERREG IVC Thematic Programme Capitalisation workshops held from 29th October to 16th November in the Committee of the Regions in Brussels. A cycle of 11 INTERREG IVC Capitalisation workshops was been developed on the following themes: Innovation systems (triple helix and open innovation) and Innovation capacity of SMEs, Eco-innovation, Creative industries, Entrepreneurship, E-government services, Demographic change, Rural development, Climate change, Energy efficiency, Renewable energy, Sustainable transport.
The past 18th of June, Fundación INTRAS, organized a national event to inform about INNOVAGE project focused in “Active ageing and independent living: Innovation in dementia”. Dementia is one of the most crippling and common illness of the elder people in Europe.
This conference was a great opportunity to present the new Inno-Hub that we have just established in the city of Zamora. We explained the participants about the activities that are planned to be developed within this innovation centre and also about the INNOVAGE project.
ADEBAG/MEDIC@LPS welcomed a European delegation of 28 participants composed by INNOVAge project partners in Grenoble from 19th to 21st September 2012. In addition to an internal project meeting, a workshop and a study visit on “eco-innovation for more independent living services and products” were organized. This event was also punctuated friendly networking sessions.
